Develop an iPad app prototype that would allow clinicians to complete the NHSN Central Line Insertion Practices Adherence Monitoring form (OMB No 0920-0666).

This prototype examined the feasibility of enabling a healthcare provider to fill out data on a mobile device (NHSN Central Line Insertion Practices Adherence Monitoring form (OMB No 0920-0666)) and send the NHSN (National Healthcare Safety Network) data to the NHSN network. The data would be transmitted as an HL7 CDA document, leveraging a HISP (Health Information Service Provider). A HISP is an organization that operates the messaging servers. A HISP is responsible for the transport of messages, but not the creation of the content.
